We all drove in from Chicago, just in time for a perfect Iowa fall birthday. My sister Ellyn took some beautiful pictures. The whole weekend’s been a blast!

Yes, it was bit of a family journal post, but I had to share Ever the Elephant photos. This Tuesday I’ll share a new kale and chickpea over polenta recipe. Also I have some tips for making and writing thank you cards fast! So many thank you’s to write when you have kids!

I’m currently writing a series for weight loss and exercise and keeping it off for life. Featuring articles on the physical, mental, spiritual and emotional aspects of weight releasing. I hope to debut the series, one article a week, in the next month!
